Academic opportunities

Columbus State University offers a large variety of liberal arts, science, business, education and professional programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. For details on these programs, go to CSU's 2009-2010 CSU course catalog.

You will find everything you expect from an American university — high-quality instruction, the best of technology, internships, job opportunities and more.

You will acquire knowledge and experience that will prepare you for a successful career in your home country or in the United States.

While you work on your degree at CSU, you will get a chance to participate in community activities and work on campus or as an intern in local companies. Many students receive job offers before, or soon after, they graduate. The American education system is probably quite different from your country. Do not worry; you will be assigned a faculty member to assist you with planning your schedule and setting your academic goals. This advisor will help you choose the right courses and help you resolve any academic issues. Once accepted into the program, students are provided with the necessary immigration document (I-20 form) to obtain a student visa.
