On-campus housing

On-campus housing at CSU is a unique opportunity for International Admissions to get to know their fellow American students, as well as other International Admissions. CSU strongly recommends that International Admissions choose from one of the housing options that the university offers since it is truly the easiest way to find new friends and your "home away from home."

CSU's Courtyard II apartment complex hosts the Global Village — a unique and exciting living arrangement specifically created to meet the needs of International Admissions and help them adjust.

CSU's apartment communities offer swimming pools, clubhouses and laundry facilities. Look for more information about living on CSU's main campus from Residence Life.

Music, art and theatre majors are strongly advised to select CSU RiverPark campus housing because most fine arts classes are now offered at the downtown Columbus campus. CSU buses shuttle students from campus to campus throughout the day at no charge.

Off-campus housing

If you plan to live off-campus, you can find available housing through the local newspaper. However, if you live off-campus, you would need to purchase an automobile because public transportation in Columbus is limited.

Most housing accommodations are unfurnished and require:

  • Credit history
  • U.S. Social Security number
  • One-year contract and safety deposit
  • Rent and utilities (usually paid on a monthly basis)
